While Smooth-N-Swingin was created as a set to commemorate the R&B and new jack swing songs of the 1990's, Urbantopia was created as a throwback compilation in dedication to the hip-hop songs of that time, right at the "cusp of corruption," right before gangsta rap was beginning to become more and more prevalent.

Once again we tip off our hats to The Blak's Lair Family for creating yet another compilation that commemorates more great music before the executives of the music industry drank lots of super duper colon-blow strength prune smoothies on full stomachs and went...uh, "loose" on the quality of the vast majority of music currently getting played today.

Please note that Urbantopia is also somewhat of a 'historic' assemblage, in that it is the first (and probably will be the only) compilation in the history of Blak's Lair to possess a "parental advisory" sticker. Wow, aren't these guys rebels or what?
