Loose Ends - Zagora [1986]
Zagora Link 2
Leave it to the Brits or the U.K. to really sound like many of their American musical counterparts when it comes to good old fashioned R&B/Soul sounds. Zagora opens with the Middle Eastern sounding of "Stay A Little While" and then breaks into familiar mid-80's groove territory. Then, it goes for the slick and pulsating sassiness of" Slow Down". The soothing sultriness of "Sweetest Pain" and the sweet balladry of" You Can't Stop The Rain" make any listener appreciate true vocal talent and musicianship from such a group.

Loose Ends - So Where Are You [1985]
So Where Are You Link 2
This is the third Album of the London based Soul Group. This Album is more refined than the debut with the introduction of Nick Martinelli as producer. The group has an varied mix of Jazz and soul tracks. "You Can't Stop the Rain" is by far one of the best soul tracks of the 80's and "Hanging on a String" is another flagship track. Listen to the Funk of "Golden Years" and recline to "Silent Talking".

Loose Ends - The Real Chuckeeboo [1984]
The Real Chuckeeboo Link 2
Long out-of-print in the US. This 1984 release was the final album featuring British dance/R&B vocalists Jane Eugene, Steve Nichol, & Carl McIntosh. They had been quite successful on both sides of the Atlantic in the mid-'80s & were at the time of this release not only performing but writing & producing tracks for Juliet Roberts, Phyllis Hyman, Five Star, Peter Royer, Cheryl Lynn, & Lavine Hudson.

Loose Ends - A Little Spice [1983]
ALS Link 2
Loose Ends provided some of the best European/British R&B around for the 80's. Their brilliant artistry and sophisticated knack combined pop jazz with richly textured and syntehsized R & B grooves for an overall atmospheric experience. While one could still hear the Western R&B influence Loose Ends had they still possessed their own remarkable and unique flavor. I have yet to hear of another group in the new millennium that comes remotely close to these guys. They were the cream of the crop and still are in my music collection !
