DJ Spinna - Intergalatic Soul [2006]

The world famous DJ Spinna is back to bless the masses with his new album Intergalactic Soul. Famous for his his wide variety of remixes and collaborations, Spinna works universal wonders on the production boards. Everyone from Mos Def and most of the old Rawkus camp, to the abstract Giles Patterson and the soulful Donald Byrd and Roy Ayers have had the blessed opportunity to have Spinna revivie, re-work and rejvenate songs to create music of the future for the present. On this album, he brings out the heavy hitters like N'Dea Davenport, Stephanie McKay, Phonte of Little Brother, Lizz Fields, Eric Roberson, and Tortured Soul to create a mixture of house, soul, hip-hop, and R&B. Spinna never fails to demonstrate his love and great respect for all genres of music. That love and respect is evident in his work and in the respect he receives from musicians of all genres, countries, and in some cases...galaxys. This album will indeed make you wander into a different state of mind while listening to HEAT consisting of some jazz, soul, hip-hop and R&B at the same time.
