Back with his second solo release "Love Will Visit", Seattle soul artist Darrius Willrich has again blurred the lines between the sultry urban grooves of R&B and the refined tension of his classic jazz background. The long anticipated album frames a mood that is steeped in the hidden mysteries of rich, luscious wanting. It's evident that few other singer/songwriters of this decade are able to elicit such sweet harmonic enigmas from their listeners.

A natural musical chameleon, Darrius is adept at performing traditional and contemporary jazz, funk, hip-hop, electronica and R&B. He's an integral part of Seattle's live music circuit and often plays in the city's most popular and experimental projects like: the 9-piece funk improvisational group Jambalaya, the rotating cast of underground groove musicians in freeschool, the jazzy mix of Plush Safe, and Source of Labor - a longtime hip-hop cornerstone in the Northwest. Internationally, Darrius collaborates with Euro-Japanese electronica artist Chukimai creating unique, poly-continental sounds and co-writes with producer Brent Laurence on house beats for the UK club scene.

It is Darrius' mission to leave a legacy of music that inspires and touches people. "I want to make people feel the way I felt when I listened to people like Stevie Wonder and Prince... hearing and feeling dreams coming true, and through that knowing I could make my own dreams come true."

I first released this album in 1999. The first pressing was seriously a limited edition. It has been out of print for nearly 3 years. In 2001 it was licensed to an independent label in the UK: Cafedesoul. They did a fine job globalizing it in underground soul cirlces. The music sold in places I have never even been. A fine thank you to them in extending the availability of this album. Now it is my turn once again to make it available.

At this point in my life I am thankful for times spent with loved ones, I'm closer to loving myself and my loved ones unconditionally. These songs are deeper in meaning to me today, than I could've dreamed. As my life changes the meanings to the songs also changes; informs me.People I don't know or barely know tell me that this album is responsible for (or at least part of) hot nights of passion and babies on the way.
