DJ Mitsu The Beats/VA - One More Roses [2007]
First appeared on the scene as a producer for the japanese hip-hop group Gagle during the year 2000 at the time of their debut release "Bust The Facts". After becoming one of the most promising new hip-hop producers in his home country, Mitsu The Beats gained international fame with his solo album debut "New Awakening" in 2003 that featured artists such as Little Brother, Promoe from Looptroop and many others.

DJ Mitsu The Beats - Another Roses [2007]
Another incrdedible Fender Rhodes compilation from the hands of DJ Mitsu -- all hand-picked and mixed live by the maestro himself -- with a flowing, glowing electric sound that's completely sublime! Mitsu's got a great blend of spacey keys and subtle funk going on here -- one that really isolates the best sound that the Fender Rhodes contributed to music back in the 70s -- interpolated through a new sense of appreciation in the 21st Century! The mix is very gentle, and gradual -- building slow, then really taking off as things go on -- and titles include "Theme Darling" by John Dankworth, "Behind Her Eyes" by John Payne, "Suddenly It's Summer" by Duncan Lamont, "The Fence" by Alan Tew, "The Meaning Of Love" by Steve Kuhn, "We Do Voo Doo" by Mat Marucci, "Cadenza For Christina" by Olli Ahvenlahti, "Mr Clean" by Rhythm Combination & Brass, "Honey Moon" by Piano Fender Bruce, "Heaven Is In Your Mind" by Alive, and "Devika" by Dave Hubbard -- as well as a few "Inteoses" tracks, created by Mitsu himself!!

DJ Mitsu The Beats/VA - 28 Roses [2006]
It's all about the Fender Rhodes on this one -- and DJ Mitsu serves up an incredible mix of lost keyboard classics from the 70s! The package is sublime -- and starts with a really mellow groove, one that has the keys of the Rhodes just hanging in space -- then builds things up with a funkier edge at the bottom, one that picks up mightily as the set rolls on. The whole thing runs for nearly 80 minutes in length, and features a total of 28 titles that include "Winding Roads" by Gary Bartz, "Melody To Thelma" by Blue Mitchell, "Corsarios" by Marcos Resende & Index, "New Found Truths" by Catalyst, "Time" by Ju-Par Universal Orchestra, "Sweet Children" by Caesar Frazier, "Affirmation" by Al Gafa Quinteto, "Brasswind" by Gene Ammons, "Ghetto Child" by Ahmad Jamal, "Stefanie" by James Moody, "I've Got You On My Mind" by Jorge Dalta, "Astral Quest" by Greg Hatza & Moon Quest, "Beach Journey" by Alan Hawkshaw, and "When She Smiles" by Harold Danko.

DJ Mitsu The Beats-The Excellence~Selected Works [2006]
It may have a boastful title -- but Excellence is, well, quite excellent -- a masterful selection of remixes and more by DJ Mitsu The Beats! Selected Works leans towards the more hip hop friendly side of Mitsu's palette -- with Talib Kweli, Roddy Rod, Chicago's should-be-huge Diverse and others -- but the all purpose space soul groove is represented quite well, too -- by Platinum Pied Pipers, Ivana Santilli, Bakura and more. A nice set of cuts overseen by one of our favorite boundary-hopping groovers! Tracks include "Yeah Y'all" feat Roddy Rod & Kev Brown, "Hope" (DJ Mitsu The Beats rmx) by Pete Philly & Perquisite feat Talib Kweli, "Help Me" (DJ Mitsu The Beats rmx) by Alex Attias/Mustang fet Colonel Red, "Stay With Me" (DJ Mitsu The Beats rmx) by Platinum Pied Pipers feat Tiombe Lockhart, "Ain't Right" (DJ Mitsu The Beats rmx) by Diverse, "Everlasting" (DJ Mitsu The Beats rmx) by Ivana Santilli, "Cannon Baller" feat DJ Kentaro and more!!

DJ Mitsu the Beats - Extra Fee [2005]
Japan has a long tradition of talented DJs and beatmakers - DJ Krush, DJ Honda, Muro and more recently Kentaro. Another Japanese producer and DJ who’s made a name for himself worldwide in the last few years is Mitsu the Beats, the alias of a diminutive yet very talented Sendai City native who stormed everyone’s favourite charts a few years back thanks to his first solo LP, ‘A New Awakening’, and his group’s, GAGLE, first album. Signed to the Jazzy Sport label in Japan, Mitsu the Beats soon found himself being name checked by the likes of Pete Rock, Gilles Peterson and DJ Spinna after relasing his LP, which featured the likes of K-Otix, Dwele, Mark de Clive Lowe, Rich Medina and many more.
The growing success allowed him and the label to call in some remix favours and re-release ‘A New Awakening’ in 2 volumes jam packed with remixes ranging from downtempo to broken beat, jazz, hip hop and more. Remixes came from the likes of Sa Ra, Wajeed (from Platinum Pied Pipers), Medaphor, Kev Brown and Rich Medina amongst others. And if all that wasn’t enough, his success also brought the attention of many western labels, who called on him for remix and production duties. These include Chocolate Industries, Blue Note, Ubiquity and Universal and artists like Jazzy Jeff, Madlib, Kero One, PPP and Diverse – the kind of labels and artists you want coming knocking at your door!
All the success and interest doesn’t seem to have changed Mitsu the Beats or dented his love of beatmaking and music one bit though. With a few recent European and US tours and some more upcoming releases, solo, with his band GAGLE and for a variety of international artists, Mitsu the Beats keeps knocking shit out and repping his home country worldwide.

Thanks for upload ;)
your mass mirror links are not working, could you re-upload the albums? Thanks a lot!
One More Roses is fixed, working on others...
I think there might be a problem with the "One More Roses" link. Every time I try to download it, it just loops back and forth and I can't seem to download the file.
Thank You for the other posts though. They work like a charm :)
on "one more roses," at 13:29 it skips :[. it's no big deal though, but it's there and i noticed it.
fantastic blog by the way. i've been downloading from here for a few weeks now. keep up the fantastic music uploads.
